Experimental Hybrid Lens

This experimental handmade lens combines a glass element with a fixed micro aperture. By merging these elements, it can create a unique image between a primitive lens and a pinhole.

Aperture Options
Choose your creative aesthetic based on desired edge characteristics:

f/32 - Center sharpness with lots of edge distortion and balanced light gathering.

f/64 - More pinhole-like characteristics, subtle edge distortion and longer exposures.

Optical Performance
The slight separation between aperture and lens element creates a system with unique characteristics: edge blur that transitions from a sharp center to soft painterly edges, while the extraordinary depth of field maintains focus from near to far (in a similar way to pinhole photography).
